Reliable sources revealed that several access roads to Tawn Hall area in Colombo 7 were closed today by Police due to a massive protest staged by Sabaragamuwa University Students.
Few days ago, Police have arrested three student leaders in Colombo for staging a protest without obeying the court order issued in order to prevent all types of protest in Colombo as it may be a threat to the national security.
Meanwhile students complained that ten students were arrested by Police at today’s protest.
