Military sources revealed that an elderly woman was brutally killed and his husband was injured by LTTE terrorists today at “Yaya 18” in Rajanganaya around 9.00pm. It is also believed that LTTE terrorists have reached “Yaya 18” village through Wilpattu thick jungle.
A group of security personnel have already been dispatched to the area and cordon and search operation is now underway, the military spokesman Brigadier Udaya Nanayakkara said.
