According to the railway sources, Medawachchiya bound Colombo train and another service train collided at Bothale railway station yesterday around 11.45pm. Informed sources said at least 11 commuters were injured and admitted to Mirigama hospital.
Due to said accident both up & down railway tracks are blocked and therefore train service on main line is currently suspended until the tracks are cleared, GMR said.
