“LTTE terrorism should be defeated through military process at any cost. In the meantime if there are any grievances for Tamil & Muslim community living in North and East provinces, those should be addressed politically” said retired Maj.Gen. Janaka Perera today in Anuradhapura while replying to a challenged jointly made by Minister of Transport Dallas Alahapperuma & Minister Maithripala Sirisena to disclose his opinion on “National issue”.
“Today UPFA government claims that the ongoing war is a success. I too sincerely wish that as well” he further added.
Former war veteran Maj.Gen.Janaka Perera is contesting at the forthcoming Provincial Council election to be held for North Central Province on 23rd August 2008 as the UNP’s Chief Ministerial candidate.
