කූරගල බෞද්ධ නටබුන් ගැන සදහන් පුවරුවක්
“2009දී කූරගල අයිතිය වෙනුවෙන් ඉතා පැහැදිලි තීන්දුවක් මානව හිමිකම් කොමිසම මගින් ප්රකාශයට පත් කර තිබියදීත් ඒ ගැන නොසලකා කූරගල අයිතිය පිළිබදව උරුමක්කාරයා සහ ආක්රමණිකයා අතර සමථයකට පැමිණීම සදහා පුරාවිද්යා කොමසාරිස්තුමා සාකච්චා කැදවන්නේ කාගේ උවමනාවකටද? යන්න විමසිය යුතුමය.”
“කූරගල” සම්බන්ධයෙන් වර්තමානයේ මතුවී ඇති තත්වය ඊට අදාළ පාර්ශවයන් හා සාකචිචා කර සමථයකට පත්කිරීම සදහා පුරාවිද්යා කොමසාරිස් විසින් විශේෂ සාකච්චාවක් මැයි මස 3 වනදා පෙරවරැ 9.30 ට එකී දෙපාර්තමෙන්තුවේදී කැදවා ඇති බව දැනගන්නට ඇත.
කූරගල චෛත්යයේ නටබුන්
“කූරගල” යනු ක්රි.පූ. 2 වන සියවසට අයත් බෞද්ධ නටබුන් සහිත බලංගොඩ නගරයේ සිට කි.මීටර් 21 පමණ දුරින් පිහිටි බෞද්ධ මූලාශ්රවලට අනුව කකුසද, කෝනාගම, කස්සප හා ගෞතම යන සිව් මහා බුදුවරයින්ගේ ශ්රී පාද ස්පර්ශය ලද පුන්ය භූමියකි. එම පුන්ය භූමිය අස්ගිරි මහා විහාර පාර්ශවෙය් පූජ්ය දෙල්තොට චන්ද්රජෝති හිමිගේ භාරකාරත්වය යටතේ පාලනය වුවද, අද එහි දක්නට ඇත්තේ බෞද්ධ නටබුන් පරයා දින දින ඉදිවෙන ඉස්ලාම් ආකෘතීන්ය.(වැඩි විස්තර සදහා මෙහි දකුණු පස ඇති වීඩියෝ පටිය නරඹන්න)
ජනප්රවාදයේ එන පරිදි ගෞතම බුදුන්වහන්සේ විසින් දිවා විහරණය කිරීම සදහා උපයෝගී කරගත් කූරගල, පිහිටුවනු ලැබූ සිරි පතුල පසුකාලයේදී ආක්රමණිකයා විසින් කූරගල දෝනාව යටට පෙරලා වසන් කර ඇති බවට සාක්ෂි ඇත.
සෙනරත් පරණවිතාන ශූරීන් සොයාගන්නා ලද බ්රාහ්මී අක්ෂර සහිත සේල් ලිපි 3ක් මෙහි තිබූ අතර ඉන් 2ක්ම ආක්රමණික මුස්ලිම්වරුන් විසින් මේ වනවිටත් සහමුලින්ම විනාශ කර ඇත. ඉතිරිව ඇති එකම සෙල්ලිපියේ අර්ථයද විකෘති කර එමගින් කූරගලට ඇති අයිතිය විදහා දැක්වීමටද මුස්ලිම්වරුන් අද අසාර්ථක උත්සාහයක නිරත වෙමින් සිටී.
ඒ, එදා පරණවිතාන ශූරීන්ගේ කියවීම් වලට අනුව “දත්ත නම් මානවකයා විසින් රහතුන් වහන්සේලාට පුජා කරන ලද ලෙන” යන අරුත සහිත සෙල්ලිපියමය.
ඒ වෙනුවට ආක්රමණිකයා විසින් මෑතකදි අරබි බසින් කොටන ලද සෙල් ලිපි කීපයක් දක්නට ඇත. අක්ෂරයන්හී විකාශනයක් නොමැති අරාබි බසින් කෙටූ එම සෙල් ලිපිවලින් කාලය නිර්නය කල නොහැකි බැවින් ඒමත පිහිටා “කුරගලට” ඇති තම ඊනියා අයිතිය ඔප්පු කිරීමේ වෑයම හුදෙක් බොලද තර්කයක්ම වනු ඇත.
තවද. ඉතාමත් පහසුවෙන් නෙත ගැටෙන ස්ථානයන්හී ඇති මෙම අරබි සෙල්ලිපි පරණවිතාන ශූරීන්ගේ හෝ ඉන් පසුව මෙහි පුරාවිද්යා කැණීම් කල කිසිවෙකුට හමුනොවුනේ මන්ද යන්න පිළිබදවද බරපතල සැකයක් උපදී.
1920 දී පමණ මෙම පුද බිම ආක්රමණය කල මස්තාන් නැමති මුසල්මානුවා එහි ඉදිකල තාවකාලික ගොඩනැගිලිද කඩා ඉවත්කර ඉන් පිටවිය යුතුබවට අධිකරණයෙන් අණ කර ඇති බව කල්තොට ආරච්චි මහතාගේ දින පොතක සටහන් වී ඇත.
ඉන්පසුව ’70 අගභාගයේදි ප්රදේශයේ දේශපාලන බලය ලබාගත් එක්තරා මුස්ලිම් මන්ත්රීවරයෙකු කූරගල මුස්ලිම්වරුන්ගේ පුද බිමක් බවට පත්කිරීමේ කටයුතු වේගවත් කල අතර ඔහුගෙන් සැලකිලි සත්කාර මෙන්ම “චක්රවර්තී” පට්ටම් ලබාගත් ඇතැම් උන්නාන්සෙලා මෙම විනාශය නිහඩවම අනුදැන වදාලහ.

Commissioner is trying to negotiate with invader while neglecting the order given by HRC in 2009. That is not done under any circumstances.
If Department of Archeology recovered Buddhist ruins belonged to 2nd century BC from kooragala and has no proper evidences so far to prove that kooragala is a Muslim site, what else commissioner should require to tell Muslims to get out from Kooragala?

The root cause of this Muslim invasion is that so called Srilanka has legally recognized “Muslim” as a separate entity which gives the Muslims to create a new Muslim country within Heladiva (SL). This is a major violation of the Sovereign Right of National Ownership of the Island Country to the Hela NATION. The justifiable and permanent solution to this massive injustice to our NATION is to correct the illegal and immoral “multi-national” face forever by declaring the country as Heladiva where all are Hela Nationals INCLUSIVE of all minorities. So that all non indigenous minority cultures will rest in their private domains without causing any threat to the host nation like in other indigenous national countries.

At today’s meeting which was called by Commissioner General of Archeology to discuss about the Kuragala, the following decisions were made with the agreement of both (Buddhist & Muslim) parties.
1) All illegal occupants ( 4 Muslim shop owners + 16 Muslims attached to Mosque) should vacate Kuragala on or before 10th May 2011.
2) If they fail to do so, in order to remove them from the site necessary legal action has to be taken by the Commissioner General of Archeology.
Ven. Puliyadde Sudamma thero and Ven. Kolonne Siri Shantha Wijaya thero led that Buddhist party at the discussion and Western Province Governor Alavi Maulana, MP A.H.M.Ashwar and Ms.Sharmila Abosally (Daughter of former Minister & Ratnapura district UNP MP A.L.M.Abosally) took part at the discussion representing the Muslims.
Minister of National Heritage Jagath Balasooriya too participated at this discussion.

I heard that Commissioner General of Archeology is on the fence on this matter.
Though the Muslims were represented by a Governor and a Govt. MP together with a daughter of a late UNP Minister, not a single politician from any political party was there to represent Sinhalayas.
Former JHU leader and National list MP Pura vidya Chakrawarthi Ven. Ellawala Medhananda thera was a notable absentee at yesterday’s meeting. Ven. Thera hails from Ratnapura district was a teacher in Balangoda when this issue came up in late 70’s.
Late Minister Aboosaly was the main creator of this issue and due to the close connection Ven. Medhananda Thera had with him, allowing aboosaly to do whatever he needs , Ven. thera reportedly maintained deep silence over this matter. That may be one of the reasons for him not to be present himself at yesterday’s meeting.
CGA made a grave mistake by calling this meeting. If this is the way of deciding on the National Heritage of our country, what is the point of having a department of Archeology any further?
